1.1 Extraordinary Circumstances
There are situations in which you won’t be entitledto compensation.

One more thing to remember is that not always airlines are telling the full truth.
When in doubt, double check what you’re told.
For example, aircraft technical problems aren’t considered extraordinary circumstances, unless a plane has a hidden manufacturing defect. If your flight is delayed due to technical problems, you can demand compensation.Another option is to hand over your case to a flight compensation company, just to be sure you aren’t being lied to. Flight compensation company can check your flight and claim compensation on your behalf.
Just fill inour claim form, and our partners will do that for you.

This also applies to connecting flights with several legs.
You can’t calculate the delay time based on the time of departure. If the doors are opened 3 or more hours after the original arrival time, then it’s possible that you are entitled to flight delay compensation.

Wizz Air must offer you free meals and drinksin a reasonable relation to the waiting time, two free phone calls, e-mails or faxes. If the flight is delayed overnight, you should be offered accommodation and transportation from and to the airport as well.
